06 SSS... just thinking about this yesterday since my MPG went down since i installed my LT's to 12.4 from 13.0... and since alot of u guys have heavly moded trucks of cant image the horrible mileage u guys get, so lets hear it. Mileage and mods....

 

bout the same as you get......

 

04 SSS stock and i get 16 - 17 MPG
I get around 12mpg when I pull my lawn mower trailer.

I dont have alot of stop n go traffic where I live though.

 

well it's an awd silverado with 4.10's, heavy 20's, and a big engine.

I'd be happy if I got 15 mpg with that combo.

With that said.....I get 22 highway with a cammed 5.3L with headers,intake,full exhaust,efans, and tune

 

21-22 freeway

 

my cammed, 6.0 with 4.10's, and 3200 stall i get 15.8 mph..and i weigh 5100

 

when i did drive mine i was getting in the mid to high teens and mine is awd with 4.10s. Who does your tuning?

 

i did my own tuning..efi live custom operating system that is speed density tuned..i have the commanded A/F set to 15.5-15.8 at highway cruise.. i tuned dozerdans new 07 truck the other day.. i did it speed density also and have his commanded A/F to 15.5 and im waitin to see what he gets on gas mileage

 

I would like to hear the results of that too and I would also like to know how his spark plugs look afterwards too.

 

mods in sig and i get between 13-14 normally and 18-20 on a long highway trip....probably less now that im turning about 500 more rpms at freeway speeds.
