Well I went into the dealership today to price a new truck and in the long run the payment would have been more that what I wanted which brings me to the questioning.

I found a 2006 SS Silverado with a little over 11,000 miles. It's got the 1SS package which from what I can tell just means its got cloth seats, with the fold down arm rest and no sunroof...is that correct? If not whats the difference in the different packages that came on those trucks. They are asking $27,995 for it and I was wondering if that sounded like an ok deal? It's got the intimidator package also.

the intimidator is a limited production truck.
has the 5,3 intsead of the 6
27 seems high, you could get a SSS for 20.

 

thats a little high, I did not know the intimidator was a 5.3

 

It's not it's a 6.0

 

since when does the intimadator model come with the 5.3?

 

I just got home with the truck...went to the dealer with my trade today and talked with him bout the pricing and I got it worked out. I looked at the build sheet and it says 6.0 I will post some pictures no later than this weekend.

I didnt think the intimidators came with cloth seats??? They do have the 6.0 vortec max though and they are 2wd

 

I've never seen an Intimidator with cloth seats I also dont think they were ever pproduced that way but could be wrong and yes we do have the 6.0. 27K is pricey IMO. I bought my Intimidator brand new for 31K out the door
