Hello all. I am in process of SS'ing the front of my RCSB and i have most of the brackets as well as the OEM facia. What i dont have are the 4 upper mounting brackets for the cover. part number 15258749. I went to the dealer today and they want 95 dollars each for them plus tax. that like 400 dollars for 4 little a** brackets. that is more than i payed for the damn facia.

does anyone have another way i can work this out. i mean if i had a good look at the brackets i would just fab somthing up but i don't even know what they look like.

if someone here knows whats up please let me know. if you can hook me up with some scrap yard parts or somthing that would be great there is nothing here in Oahu. i am getting antzy though everything is sitting here waiting to go but those peices of GM GOLD! BS are pushing the boundries of what i am wanting to pay.

any help will be much appreciated.

i would just give up and sell me the bumper. my ss needs a new one and i cant find any good oem used

 

naa man no point in givving up i got a grand in it right know and it would be stupid to sell right know never get even close to that.

Good God!! The SS bumper really sounds like more trouble then its worth. I figured it was just a off with the stock on with the SS bumper simple swap and done

 

i didnt use no "brakets"......

 

I have got all the parts and prices and my guy priced them to me for $57.86 I say buy one and use it for mock up of the rest and then sell to everyone!

 

I don't remember them costing me that much. I bought everything new. Cover, ducts, brackets. Everything new GM and it was well under a grand total.
