Check ur intake manifold for leaks... I had a 99 rcsb 4.8 auto that had high pitch whistle like that, it ended up being one of the rear seals on the intake manifold

I don't believe it is an intake leak, cause it isn't there when the truck is cold. It comes in after the truck is up to temp and been driven for a little bit. I fear that it may be a thrust bearing in the motor, but I have never heard of one going bad before.

To be honest, it sounds like a metal on metal issue.

I couldn't have been further from the solution, if I had been looking at another car. A random google search lead me to this, and my solution.

CRAZY loud squeal - LS1TECH

Hey figured I would give y'all an update. Since I'm an idiot I destroyed my rear end, but I brought it back even better. I got the Detroit Locker, and 4:10 gears. I also went ahead and used my of my friends old grills he had laying around and threw my new hood on. Going to get one of my buddies to paint the hood soon. Any ideas on what I should do stripe wise? Or go without them. And the piece missing between the headlights is on the way and will be put on soon. Let me know what you guys think.
