I wouldn't do it. That's just me. I like my interior to much. If you wanted you could just take out the passanger and center seat before you head to the track. I don't bother with it anymore.
I'm decided, when the cam gets here I'm selling it. I am sinking money into the 4.8 to quickly with not as much payoff. The headers and tune helped a lot but I'm getting a 6.0 next month.

Well let me know how it goes!!!! Im very curious, but im still holding out hope for my 4.8... I keep looking at that youtube vid i posted a couple pages back and see that 700 hp/ 700 torque 4.8 and it gives me inspiration
lol but ik making that 4.8 to that kind of power aint gonna be as cheap as going the 6.0 route... but i guess u pick ur demons

I'll do that. I know what you mean. I liked the idea of making my 4.8 fast. But the more I looked at it I'll have about $700 already with headers/tune and cam. I might as well cut it off now and go with the 6.0 and save some cash. I've seen some wicked fast 4.8s. Quik has one but I never see him on here much.

quik got banned from here, from what i have read in other posts, and the last setup i saw in his truck was a fmt 6.2L, but maybe he change it again.
hirdlej is running a 6L with the stock nv3500.
not trying to brag, just trying to give you guys an idea of where youll be with the swap you are talking about.
6.0L are nice adjustments. but i will say they still leave you wanting more. i think a front mount turbo is in my trucks future, cant say when but it will have it one day.

ran on back on may 1st at byron in northern il, and cut a 13.8 @ 100mph with a 2.2 60'. i dont know what the da was, but it was up there, cuz it rained a couple hours after this vid. im not launching the truck due to the fact that i dont want the guts of the t56 all over the track. i am running a 6.0L/t-56 with 4.88 gears, true-trac, caltracs, lts/ory w/magnaflow catback, thunder racing 220/220 .551/.551 on a 112 lsa, tbss intake/90mm tb, e-fans, and full street weight.

1. I just located an 06, 4.8, 5sp, white/orange, with 900 miles on it. Since there are only 200 of these jewels, is there anyone who has picked up production of these vehicles since Regency went out of business.
2. Is there any one with information on how to identify which serial # your truck might be in the series of 200?
3. Seems like a lot of the interest in the RST has declined to almost zero but I still have many questions regarding engine, suspension and transmission enhancements.
4. I there anyone or place still active regarding the RST?
5. Has anyone tried to locate & track the RSTs?
Thanks,
B Batts
