I bought and 03 SS about a month ago and it has gone thr my mind to pull the front axles and drive shaft has anyone on here done this and what is yalls opinion on doing this.

well i have an 06 so im not AWD but i'v seen a video of it done and the tranfer case makes a horrible noise when running but im not an expert in this.... but y would u want to do this the AWD's have a great take off???

if you are going to do that you also should remove the transfer case, reprogram the BCM, convert the transmission to 2wd, and don't forget to change the front hubs to 2wd hubs or your wheels will fall off... personally I like the idea of AWD and I'd leave it alone.

i am going to leave it alone i knew i would not to change alot of **** really just wondering if anyone had done it and what were there results in 1/4 times and fuel mileage

for what you would have to do to make it work its just not worth it. and congrats on the new ride
