Wanting to run a GM ASA Cam in my 6.0LQ9. Specs are 226/236 .525 .525 110 LSA. I'm worried about valve clearance issues. Anybody running this cam or one with similar specs? Did you have to machine deeper reliefs into the pistons?

 

u shouldnt that lift isnt substantial at all...

 

I ran that cam with 59cc LS6 heads= No problems

 

I am going to run this cam in my 04' AWD will see how it goes I think I am gonna like it

 

That is the cam I am thinking about as well. Let me know how the install goes, and what total cost was for it total. I run Hp tuner so I dont think it will be hard to get a tune for it. Also what stall are you running for it?

 

A am probably going to get a TBTC 2800 stall and advance the cam about 4 degrese! Should be seeet for my SSS.
