I have a 2006 silverado that I am getting ready to put the Joe Gibbs front end on except I am only buying the bumper cover only, due to the price the whole kit is $700, I was told if I just get the bumper cover that I can get the rest of the stuff from the dealership for the SS pumper, he said I just needed the two brackets on the sides, sould somebody show me how the SS and the Joe Gibbs bumper cover goes on, so I will know exactly what parts to get, pictures would be graet, ThankYou!

 

The parts from an SS bumper will not help you at all. The Gibbs bumper had its own set of brackets and mounting hardware. You are better off finding a Gibbs truck and duplicating the mounting hardware. Possible have someone post up a picture of the lower supports.

Trust me, I went through this already.

 

A guy out of California was trying to sell the bumper for $ 400 he said he has been using the SS brackets for a while must of just beem trying to sell it to me, but I have found just the cover for just over $300, but the whole kit is almost $800!
