Dont laugh but what kind of Gas Mileage are you getting in a 5spd rst vs auto rst?

It is July 2010 and I just purchased an 06 Regency, White/Orange v8, 5spd with 990 miles on it. I love the truck since it is not supercharged and I mainly wanted a manual trans. I get 15 mpg in town and slightly over 20 on the highway. There were only 200 of them built so I have never seen another one on the road or any car/truck show. They are not a work truck. They are the last full size, 1/2 ton chevy pick up with a v8 and manual trans. They are unique, and fun to drive without breaking the bank. I love my RST.

Regency bought a xxx# of trucks from gm, they were all w/t models, with certain factory options. Then regency did the conversion and sold the trucks to certain gm dealers for sale to the public. If a bank or insurance company runs you vin # it comes back as a stock 1/2 ton work truck.
if they were truly something that gm was looking to push as a special package they would have numbered them & pushed more that it was Chip Foose that designed it & probably done something more along the lines of the Joe Gibbs trucks for performance rather than just some shorty headers & an intake

In July 2010, there have been a few suddenly show up on Ebay. They are 2006 White with Orange stripes, 5spd trucks. Two in NC are still for sale with 20K miles for $20K. One sold in Mississippi with 10K miles sold for $21K. There is one at Blands Auto, in Bloomington, IN with 10K miles for 19K. I just bought mine for $20K with 996 miles on it in Maine and drove it home. It's a good fun truck that is not your daddy's PU truck.
