Default Ahhhhhhhhh!!

k guys...i duno whats going on with my truck...i just reinstalled a reactor flexplate and all arp bolts with a percisions converter.....i had the truck for 3 days...one the 3rd day i hit it off the line...went about 70-80ft and there was a big boom...its the long wekeend here so i havent looked at it yet. i have no reverse...drive..or park. last time the bolts broke i had park. also the fluid is still going down when the engine is running so i duno what it could be this time. where is the parking pin in the ss drivetrain?

also i was reading on the net that the ss slipts the power 38 front 62 rear...so i could be running more power then seen on the dyno since we took the front shft out to get it on the 2 wheel dyno.

i was just wondering if you guys have anythoughts on whats wrong...

if it shows it went into park i would say you blew up your tcase since you pulled the front shaft to run it on a 2wd dyno.

no its in the tranny, but if the tcase is broke or the output shaft is broke the truck will still move no matter what.

talk to chuck at FLT. I talked to him a month or so about it and thats what he suggest instead of trying to use the smaller output shaft so you didn't have to modify the tcase. but as you found thats the weakest link.
