Truck Trend magazine did a test on a 2WD Silverado SS and I think it ran a 15.2, or somewhere in the low 15's. I think it is high 14's capable with a good driver and good weather.

Yeah if its a 15.2 truck then I probably would have taken him or hung with him my guess would be a high 14 truck.

Oh man. I'd expect it to run similar times as the vortech high output trucks. I think most of them are in the mid 14s with minimal mods. Most AWD SSs run in the 15.0-15.2 range stock after breaking in.

I'm glad GM is offering them in 2WD, but I wouldn't give up my AWD.

do they come with the lq9? i figure they would run pretty much the same as the vho's if they do. low 14's are common with just an intake and tune on the vho's. thats on 20's

When did GM start offering them in 2wd? I was under the immpression all SS were awd. If this is the case, they should at par with the VHO.

Ya but they said the truck only had 200 miles on it and they expect it to run better with more miles on it. The new SS is just a VHO with appearence package so it should run exactly the same as them.
