Default Changing vehicles, a couple of questions...

I'm going to be selling my 04 RCSB soon to finance the purchase of a certain two-seater Chevrolet. I'm going to need a daily driver as well, and I would like about a 98 model RCSB with a 5.7. So, my questions are...

1. How much can I expect to pay for a clean 96-98 RCSB, 5.7, with under 100k?

2. What's your opinion on how much my truck is worth? Should I part it out before selling? Here's a quick summary:

2004 Silverado LS Reg cab, fully loaded (no leather or Onstar, but I don't think that was available). Fog lights, XM, towing package, G80 w/ 3:73s

has GMAUX-12 that I've been running my iPod on, as well.

Line-X spray in, with a Checker hinged soft tonneau.

has bolt-over billet grille and GM color-matched door handles

Joe Gibbs 20" wheels with 285/50/20 General Grabber UHPs, all with about 2.5k on them.

Only performance mods are K&N drop in, and Hypertech (I know, I just did it to correct for the wheels).

Also have factory wheels in great shape, an unpainted SSS spoiler, and a virgin Aeroforce Tech scan gauge...

And since I've had a couple of requests lately, here's a pic. Don't hate, I haven't had the chance to take a real picture since the wheels went on. This is just a snapshot I took when I put the wheels on.

i would say like a 97 98 would run ya about 8 or 9 grand at a dealer or 6 or 7 outright..... your tuck id say the dealer is going to give ya about $14,000 for trade but if you sell it outright and find the right buyer mabee $20,000

I have no idea on the pricing of the trucks, but I'll tell you this: the dealer won't give you any more for modifications, in fact they prefer to keep as close to stock as possible usually on the lots. Of your mods I would only leave the door handles (not worth the trouble to remove)

I was going to get a C6, but I'm going to save some coin and get a C5 Z. Thanks everyone for the input....I plan to avoid the dealerships if possible!
