thank you for the offer. Do you know what year it came off of? I need to do some research and see if there is any difference with them between an 04 and older tail housings and output shafts. Are you 4l80 guys running the stock output shaft or is there even an upgrade with a heavier duty up at shaft?

I put based mine last year so I think I'm past the point of return. Is that boom removable? Could you get square tubing to place the current one? Love this build btw. Oh and I didn't know you could turn a 2wd 4l80 into a 4wd. Filtering this closely.

Have you ever heard of a stock output shaft breakage? I haven't.

20ninj45, you could probably use a longer boom but not too sure if the added leverage with the weight of the motor will be too much for the had pump of that model.

GMCtrk, no i have not seen one broke but I also haven't been in this platform that long.

The only shaft that really needs to be upgraded is the front shaft. 1000hp and up

Thank you for the advice.

So this sucks, FYI, tall Holley sniper valve covers put the coil right in the line of fire of the exhaust housing with the Trick T6 and s480. Have to go back to the stock valve covers.

Very nice work man! What are you using to get that nice of a gloss black? What brand? Is it a rattle can or are you having it pro painted? Looks great!

Thanks fellas, Chaney are you awd?

D1 I prepped and painted myself outside so there are some dust particles in the paint but shouldn't be too noticeable when all installed and dropped in the bay. I used a military spec 2 part gloss black in a rattle can that is activated with a hardner in the can. If you search 2k paint cans you'll find them. I swear, every single day I wanted to paint it was windy so I used a nifty cheap paint booth from target out of closet wardrobe setups.
