Well took the truck out to the track! Drove about 200 miles rounds trip and made 5 passes started to get the truck lined out and the tracks timing system messed up and they called it a night! But overall good night of racing and got some decent times for the first time out!

Well I decided I wanted to slowly build a nice motor on the side and swap it out and upgrade the turbo down the road and really throw the boost at this truck! So I picked up a 5.3 long block for 50 bucks! Stripped it down to get it ready for the machine shop! Going to slightly home it out to a 3.800 bore with some nice Wiseco boost pistons LJMS style, and some nice Callie compstar rods!

 

The shifter looks right at home. Did you have any alignment issues using the djm lca?

 

Do you have more pictures of the shifter install with the console?

 

i have the same shifter that console made it look clean ..

yes ended up having to get the Djm uppers to get it in spec. It wasnt even close but good thing is I bought the 4/6 kit for 350 off Jc Whitney, and djm sold me the uppers for 170 since I had there kit already so they cut me a discount!

 

Thanks! And on IC I'm not sure think it's a cx racing. IATS are happy though so it's working great.
