My stock lq9 took a **** so I pulled the trigger to do a full turbo build. Up till now it was just lowered and did a nice set up with c6 zo6 calipers with bear rotors, ss lines and yellow etc pads (dusty as hell) but stops on a dime.



So far the build is going to be an iron 370 Thompson Motorsports bottom end with their 799 cnc heads which I'm waiting on. Running a Trick t6 twin scroll manifold and a BW s480 cast wheel unit. Trans needs to be swapped with a 4l80 4x4 and a fancy "Time2Kill" adapter but I still haven't sourced either of those. I'm some what new to the LS platform but not new to the turbo field so I'm completley open to any info and or ideas from anyone that has already gone this route. This isn't a track truck, it's going to be driven on the streets at least 4 days a week. The goal is 7-800 AWHP in order to make this heavy bitch fun. The parts are stacking up and it's time to start fabbing the intercooler pipes and downpipe.

Might be the wrong section but definantly the right forum! That thing is beautiful! The brake swap looks awesome looking forward to seeing more of this thing.

Very nice build so far. Any more information on your suspension in the front? Is it just spindles and keys?
