Not that I would but it should be a non issue, that'd be like mounting your fuel rails in the fender wells in case they leak....

Vac ref is stainless hardline to my vac manifold in drivers fender well.

Aren't you supposed to keep it off the firewall per NHRA track regs? Pretty sure I read that somewhere.

Yep. You will fail technif it mounted to the firewall. That is why i mounted mine where i did.

Also why mine isn't also. It's close but not on the firewall or attached too it in any way.
