Way i have them wrapped i can take the ratchet mechanism loose and they stay up, if i really needed to i could drive it way it is a short distance and if something came about to where i had to use the truck i could make the frame mounts i have work, just really rather have whats supposed to have been with the kit!!!

Sent front brackets back to pro comp/4wheelparts... After playing twenty questions back and forth with the nice lady at the company i bought the kit from.... The one that irritated me the most was "why do they think they got the wrong brackets, and how do they know those arent just manufacturing numbers stamped in them?" My reponse after i set my phone down and composed myself was...." The gentleman i spoke with friday afternoon when i called for clarification as to which side the brackets were supposed to go on, informed me that the part number is stamped into the brackets and that the brackets i had were for a 2005 ford superduty and that i apparently had the wrong front mounts in the box!!" cant anything ever be easy???

Got new bracket kit today, they sent me a whole new bracket kit..... Exactly the same as the last one, except....... Wait for it.......... An instruction sheet!!!! If they had just said to begin with that the kit for my truck now comes with these bravkets and its a design change or whatever i could have had these bars in and been onto my headers or something else with the truck.....

Got as far as getting the brackets onto the bars and ready to start drilling holes.... 110* heat index did nothing for wanting to finish it today!! Either get the holes drilled tomorrow or Saturday afternoon....
