What shocks did you end up with? And where the others really worn out? I know mine sure were. does it still sit were you wanted with the add a leaf?

I got a set of ranchos, figured between lifetime warranty and less than $50/each i couldnt go wrong, so far only got one adda leaf in, and the side i have in sat at 44 3/8 at the wheel well before and was at 45 1/4 after pulling the 2" block and adding the add a leaf and traction bar bracket.... Figure the new blocks will put me at about 46.25 at the wheel well, which shiuld actually help fix the caster in the front end and my next project after my headers will be rebuilding the front end and putting the alignment dowels back in place.... Been trying to find the $600 for the cognito upper control arms so i could have a good excuse to pull the arms out to fix the dowels... May get a set of aftermarket eccentrics for the front as well....

that is high! I think mine is at 39in in the rear with no block and a fabtech AAL.

I ran all ranchhos on an old project and they were great for such an afordable shock. used to get it airbourne in whoops and it still landed pretty smooth

Trade a kid or 2 for those cognito UCAs they look so nice ive been eyeing them forawhile. How far off is your alignment now?

Camber and toe are dead nuts.... Had mess with camber numbers and some cheap tires to get it right, but i ebded up having to go -.05 or something on a john bean or whatever its called alignment machine.... Caster is ridiculous something like either half or double what it should be.... Been awhile since i had it on a machine..... I want a set of rare parts hd tie rods and the cognito ucas with some new shocks upfront and i should be about good!!!

You might look into the cognito tie rods as well. I have the rare part tie rods and my only complaint is the grease boot just fits on loosely and grease is always coming out and I'm greasing them all the time because I"m worried dirt and **** is getting in there. I emailed them about it and they said its fine just keep doing what your doing. I have always been curious now if the cognito would have been the better buy since I use their steering brackets and sway bar ends. Hopefully UCAs one day.

Thing with cognitos tie rods is that i dont really want the heim joints, which seems to be all they make for the 1500s...

Well made progress tonight....got bars in, sort of....ran out of time, so i didnt have a chance to drill through the frame and still had to get the truck out of the bay at work, soooo..... I did what any good redneck with a lifted truck would do, i ratchet strapepd the front of the bars to the frame and eased around the parking lot to park the truck

With both add a leafs in and the new 5" blocks the rear of the truck sits at 46.25 on right side and 46.375 on the left side.... And as far as i could tell my tires dont rub my damn fender anymore on sharp turns...

My makeshift frane mount....
