Adjusted the shift cable today, i now have park again!! Started tryin to install the aux battery harness and cant remember where one damned wire connects to, and am not seeing it in the ax battery wiring diagram i have
So i took 10 minutes the other day and finally started installing my new nerf bars... Had a set i picked up off ebay for dirt cheap, if i had a stock height truck theyd have been fine, but my truck being lifted, they sat way too close to the body for my size 14 boots to fit on without kicking the rocker panel every damn time i got in the truck.... Even had them as far out as the braces would let me mount them..... Sadly i have had these new bars sitting in front of my toolbox at work for probably like 2-3 months now.... And still need to get passenger side bar on.... Two jobs and 7 days a week doesnt give me a whole lot of time to do much of anything!!!
(new) Function.....
(old)Form!!! i like the look of the old bars but they just dont work with my big *** clown feet
Id thought about that and as much as it cost to ship the intake i sold few weeks ago... I figured with the length of nerf bars, shipping wouldve been close to what i paid for the bars anyway....
Hoping to get my headers mocked up this weekend to figure out what i need to do to get my cats in and make sure everything else is going to go as planned...still having goofy shifting issues, mainly that no matter what ive done with the tune 1st gear still only lasts til 26mph and at best about 3800rpm or so, longest i think i have had it hold to at this point is maybe 32ish mph..... Still need to get a good log on it and see whats going on, think part of the problem maybe the lack of traction i seem to have now!!!
