I would think that you would not have a problem with this. It seems to me that the only difference would be that the motor, in the mirror, is made to move the mirror unit in a different (in and out vs. folding in) direction. Everything else remains the same. Plug and play.

My puddle lamps are now operable. I installed a relay and triggered the coil through the courtesy lamp circuit, instead of through the BCM (which is the factory way).
What was really cool is that I did not splice one wire. I used some metri-pak 280 connectors to plug into open circuits in the relay box and fuse box.
[edit] oh yeah. . . I used an SPST relay (bosch 332 019 150 or 332 019 151) that has two 87 pins on it. So each one of those goes to a puddle lamp.
