Wait 30% is supposed to look darker than 50% though…

Also I know for a fact that they change the numbers because I’ve seen the meter for a few of the darker tints and they are not as dark as other brands lol

the percentage indicates how much light passes through it.

was just saying that the lower tint numbers means less light goes through (e.g., 5% is darker than 25%).

oh, i gotcha now - you're saying it appears that the tint ratings are like two different trucks comparing dyno sheets: even though could've made pulls on the same day in the same weather conditions but one was from a dynojet & the other on a mustang.

At some point in this thread I thought you were going 70% and then you posted 30% and my brain just reciprocated the values and got all confuzzled
