Windshield Tint

It was because I refused to scratch it with a razor blade. I told the officer I was going to have it professionally removed, in a polite manner and he told me to step out of the truck. I work for the Chief magistrate on a weekly basis in my county, he took it as an affront to him, so that officer is no longer on patrol. Lol. There were no arrestable laws or ordinances broken, he was totally out of bounds and I should sue his *** personally but I'm not that kind of guy. I'll just wait until he has a change of careers, it's a small town I'll see him again...

You ever heard of putting a horse's head in the bed?
One thing mentioned earlier is the major necessity for the tint shop to actually do a good job or else it is just going to suck. I'm going to a new guy never been there before for this so I am keeping my fingers crossed he does a good job. I see a ton of pics on his facebook of windshields getting done so I think he will.

25% on the top 5" of the windshield and side windows is legal in Tx, (with anything on the back), anything more is illegal. I personally don't see the reason to risk it for the extra 5%.
A big factor for me would be where you drive. If you're in the city, cops are too busy to screw around with that or probably even notice. Small towns in Tx, are some of the biggest D-bag cops I have found anywhere. Please tell me why all these small towns cops and Sheriffs that have 2,000 people, in the middle of nowhere, are driving BRAND NEW Tahoes, EVERY year. They are bored, and trying to earn money for the town. I drive like I'm the only one on the road in the city. I follow almost every single law when I'm out in the country.
EDIT: I can do 15 over with traffic flow right with cops, and never think twice about it. I've gotten pulled over on I-10 in west Texas, (Sonora) for doing 86 in an 80 with no vehicles in sight and 50 miles from the closest mcdonalds, because a cop was sitting at the bottom of a hill, catching people as they crested the hill. (He was in a brand new Tahoe).

City driving only for me. I do take my truck a few times down to Austin, maybe 2-5 times a year, but I’m not super worried about that.
For me I’m going down 10% on front two windows which is a big difference for the fronts. The eyebrow ain’t so big of a deal as even 30% is dark as hell so nobody will be able to tell.
Edit: Live one neighborhood away from the part of town with gunshots all night. Cops aren’t so bothersome

Looks awesome
If you straighten the TX tag and put it in a frame with just a lite tint plexi cover, if your state allows... it will really clean up the front. If TX doesn't allow tinted covers just do the frame to square up the mangled plate.

I’m getting a custom plate in a couple months. Dad ran over a rock about 5 years ago backing up and ripped it off lol
I will say I’m not a big fan of how they did the inspection sticker as well as definitely looks wayyyy darker than advertised lmfao
The brow doesn’t look all that much darker strange enough. It is 5% though. Maybe I need to look again
