Default Will HIDs be OK with Denali projectors???

Would it be OK to run a HID kit (I think its 9005 instead of 9006???) in some OE Denali projector headlamps. I know it will work and all, but will I be blinding other drivers and such?? Basically, will OE projectors be good enough for a HID setup??

You will probably have to re-aim the headlights. Other than that you should be fine. OEM projectors are better than any aftermarket projector. Check any truck forum and they will tell you the same. Aftermarket headlamps=crapola.
I believe there is a guy on FSC named "oracleknowledge" that did this and he said it turned out great.
*Edit* About the bulbs, yes they are 9005 for BOTH high and low beams on the Denali projectors.

I've been using the stock bulb that I got with the projectors OEM of course, and have had no use for anything else. I blind people all the time with the stock stuff. They have to hate me. I have never used my high beams since I got my denali projectors. Theres really no need to.

Yeah I'm sure its better having the denali projectors than stock headlamps, but its still not the same as an HID setup...

I drive my g/f's Lexus with factory HIDs alot, and when I go back to my Yukon it doesn't even seem like the lights are on

Thats what is making me want to do this conversion.

in my projectors and they work great.

I put HIDs in my projectors and they work great. Easy to install. No blinding of oncoming traffic, even when aimed high. You do blind driver when coming up directly behind, so I aimed down so just hits top of trunk on small car. Lose a little bit of distance, but I hardly ever use high beams now. I'm happy I did it.
