Default where to put my gauges...

ok well Ive been thinking about where to put my gauges in my truck and I wanted some of your guys opinions...right now i have a 3 pod a piller with my wide band, areoforce and tach mounted in it...Im gonna be putting my turbo my truck very soon so i need to get a boost gauge and want to put a fuel pressure gauge in as well...possibly a pyro....

so what Ive planned on doing was leaving my wide band on the top hole in my pod...then boost gauge, then tach...Im going to make a gauge mount in where the 4x4 switch goes like moregrip made and put 2 areoforces gauges in there...my plan was to put the fuel pressure gauge on a steering column pod but didnt know what everyone thought of them...for the guys who have them, do you like them? I know you cant take off your bezel w/o removing them and Ive heard the fitment isnt the greatest...what about seeing the rest of the gauges???

if the money is there...Id like to put the pyro where SBChvy made his mount where the air bag switch is...

This is why I recommended this topic being added into the Show/Shine Index.

I plan on putting mine were MoreGrip did.

well i guess i should have worded it a little differently...i know the various spots on where to put them...but my biggest question was about how well people liked the steering column pod and for the turbo guys to chim in to see how important a pyro would be for my application...

I was just stating that if all of the different threads on different mounting positions was in that index, it would be easier to find all the options.

I don't know if you need a pyro or not, but personally I'd put the tach and wideband in the 4x4 cubby hole and the boost and fuel gauges in the pillar

I dont run a pyro, and realize that the wideband has a reflection of FP in it. IS that little tack helping you any? What am I missing with that? I run boost, FP and a wideband. I will probably trade the FP out for a pyro one day, im not worried at all about it though.

I didnt realize till about a two weeks ago that my FP is falling around 8psi on a WOT run. And ive had that gauge since last summer. BUt the wideband holds fine, so that drop has been accounted for in my VE table.

yeah i def. agree it would be nice to find the information without having to start a repetitive question...

the tach is staying on the pillar seeing its a 2 5/8" and i fiberglassed a custom mount for it...some people say its dumb to have 2 tachs, but i drive with the steering wheel lowered all the way and it impairs the vision of my cluster, plus the stock isnt a responsive and doesn't read over 6k...seeing I call the shifts i wanna see when i need to shift

i removed the top aeroforce in favor of my wideband...
