Default Wheels for my 4x4 Ls

Well I've got a little extra $ to play with so I'm looking at some wheels for my '03 ECSB 4x4. I'm not sure I wanna go with 20's because of the performance trad-off, but if I do what size tire would look ok with the 4x4. Right now I really like the Centerline sniper. Anyone have 20's on thier 4x4? How about 18's?

I was thinking about 18's but with the deals Centerline is having it's hard not to get 20's for less money. The Stingray 3;s look great but alto of people have them. The godo thing is, not alot of people in my area have them so I guess that's a moot point. So what about meaty tires for 20" ers that fit without rubbing anything.

ditto. i think they would look better on a 4x4

save the 20's for a 2/4 drop truck or something.

i have seen some 4x4's with 20's. some look badass. but i still think smaller is better, especially if take a break from driving on the pavement once in a while

What kind of tires are you wanting to run? If you want anykind of off road or all terrain tire stick with 16-17". Go any bigger and your choices are very limited unless you get a lift.

A 325/60 I think is the smallest I've seen in an 18. Thats not to tall but it's way to wide to fit up front. With a 3" body lift and some trimming they might work on an 18x9. Probably look pretty good with the right backspacing.

I have 285/75/16 which are about the same height but 2" norrower. I've seen people run 295 and 315 but it's usually on a 8" wide rim and some cranking and trimming, don't see a 325 fitting without a lift and you'll need atleast a 9" wide rim or it will probably look goofy.

Just start going to all the tire manufacture's websites and see what sizes they offer.

Now you guys have me thinking about just gettting a set of the new factory 17's and keeping the stock look. I'm not really into the BLing ,Bling thing anyway. Besides with the extra cash I'll save I can get a good custom tuneand a TB stall.
