I took my 20's off for the winter and I am going to polish them up when I get a chance. What kind of polish do you guys recommend for a "superfinish" wheel. I heard the Mothers billet polish works the best....

 

YES YES YES!!!!!! i just put 2 coats on my centerline's, mother's billet polish that is, and they look better than my dad chrome wheels! i love the stuff!

 

I use Mother's billet wheel polish on my Boyds with great results.

 

One question it says you cant use it on Chrome is this true? Also neverdull is good.

 

Btw i guess this would be good on my grill since its ALum Billit.

mothers kicks the **** out of anything. i used their products on my chrome rims and nothing comes close to their shine and i have used a lot of products on them..

 

I use a couple of products on my wheels.

Step 1: Wenol (as seen here)
--There are two "grades:" one is a cleaner (red tube), the other is just a polish (blue tube). I go over the wheel with the red tube, and then the blue tube.

Step 2: Hot Flash Wax (as seen here)
--This stuff is amazing. I use it on the painted surfaces as well, but the guy that I buy it from suggested using it on the billets and it works wonders! It is a milky wax that wipes on, dries almost instantly, and wipes off EXTREMELY easy. I couldn't believe it when I saw it at a show! It takes all of the leftover polish/oxidation off an puts a protective coat of wax on the wheels so brake dust/water spots/etc don't set in and mar the finish.

It takes a LONG time to do this whole process, but the results are worth it.

 

well you need to get a bottle of this stuff i have.i have tried all that ****.i thought the last stuff i had was good this **** is 10x better. LONG HAUL is the name i guarente that it's easier on and the shine last looong.check at a big rig store around you.

 

Mothers Billet Polish is good stuff. I have also used Wizard's Polish and then sealed with Wizards Sealer. Had great results with both. Just remember, you need to seal what you polish or it will oxidize really fast and you will find yourself polishing a lot. Sealer just prolongs the polishing of the rims and makes them look better for longer.
