ok guys, its me, burban44. i decided to make a new sn. neways, this is my next question. i want to build the sub from the ground up, and i want the weight to be dramatically reduced. but i dont want to sacrifice the safety of the metal being used. so heres my question... what metal can i use to achieve this? would carbon fiber be of any use? and to respond to all before my last 2 posts were closed... girlsdoitright, yes i AM serious. you may not beieve it but ive been thinking of this for a while now and am blueprinting and planning what components are to go on it. goldenvelvet, read the first post before u say something, im not using NOS, nor will I ever. second, i never said i didnt know how to put an exhaust on or tips for that matter, i just thought id ask if it would be a mistake or not. no one that i kno has done that to a truck, nor a v8 vehicle. ive never heard what an exhaust with those kinds of tips would sound on a v8 and thought id see if any1 thought it would be a bad idea or not. anyways, the weight thing is a real big challenge because of the extensive work around it, and i wanted to kno what materiall to use. any help would be great, thanx
