Default water spots!

Just wondering if any one here knows how to get rid of water spots that just wont seem to come off. I have tried to make the soap strong and tried to buff them out and no luck. Any suggestions?

Are you sure they are water spots. They should come out if you buffed them or even a lil wax should do it.Also before you wash it you should spray it down for a while to cool the paint off

Are you using a wax to buff them out?

A good cleaner wax like Meguires Cleaner Wax and a light pad should do it NP. What kind of buffer are you using? What kind of pad or bonnet?

That is what I'm using is Meguires. I'm not real sure about the others. I will have to get back to you on that one.

If you're using Meguires Cleaner wax then they should be coming out with a decent buffer. You using a terry cloth bonnet or a foam one?

If they are deep spots then it may take some work but they will come out. My car was covered in them so bad it looked white once and I got em out.

I was gonna say a clay bar or a highly diluted mix of water and CLR. I use diluted CLR on my jetski every so often to get rid of the nasty lake water spots and it works dam good!

Will need to use Meguires Heavy-Cut Cleaners or Medium it will (-Cut Cleaner quickly removes swirls, water spots and water sanding marks. It also leaves the silicone-free surface essential for proper painting. For use with a rotary buffer only.)
I use 3-m Finess-it polish. They both work well. Meguires is cheaper

I really appreciate all of the input guys I think next wax job I do I will try a clay bar. They dont really bother me at some times then some times they kill me. But Thanx I'm gonna do somehting to get rid of them. Might even use the "Mr.Clean" on it a few times seein its got a filter on it to keep off water spots.
