I seen ur other threads when u first bought it....man u have a sick project man I like it. RARE 68 shortbed no dout.

Thanks for the comment. This is a dream project for me. After it's completed, I'll move onto my other dream project, 67-68 Camaro

looking forward to pics of it lowered, its going to look sick. might want to invest in a face shield before you use that wire wheel again

It's getting closer to being set back on the ground!! And no fights with the grinder, so it's been easy so far! Waiting on a brake line for the front, have to paint the steering box (will be same color as control arms) get it installed, and finish rebuilding the brakes on the rear. Need to install the new lowering springs and blocks in the rear. I'm getting excited!




The dull part of the frame in the rear will gloss when it dries. This carboline paint does weird stuff when it flashes, freaked me out the first time I used it, but it smooths out perfect.

Got it somewhat back on the ground just to see what it will look like. Need to get my springs for the front, install the 2" lowering blocks, and get an adjustable track bar. This thing is going to turn some heads around here.
