I can get both nitto 404s or toyo proxy sts for the same price. From your experiance which is the better tire?Tire wear is my biggest concern.

out of those two tires i would get the toyos. now if you where trying to decide between the 555's and the proxys then i would go with the nittos.

I've used the nitto nt450 since the day I bought my rims. I can't vouch for that series, but I've been very happy with the treadwear of the 450s. Nitto seems to make a great tire, but I've heard great things from the proxy sts.

I have the Nitto 404 right now and have put about 16K on them. They are about gone, but i ran the **** out of them. I will be looking at the Toyo's when it is time to get new ones. I would buy the Nittos again, but I would like to switch things up a bit. The Nittos have great gripp and the wear is very even too.

I would go with the Nittos. I had the Toyo Proxes in 295/45-20 and 265/50-20 and didnt like either of the 2. Traction sucked with the 265/50s and the 295/45 was wearing bad and the local tire shop said it was a faulty tire.

I used to have nitto 404s, they were pretty good. Just compare tread ratings

I've had two sets of Toyos. First were 20's on my old wheels and now the 255/55's on my 18's. I've had no problems with either set of tires and felt that they had great cornering traction.
