But anyways, basic mods like intake and exhaust are usually done first, then usually headers. The more stuff you have done, the better the results of the tune will be. Tuning a stock truck doesn't make that much of a difference besides better shift points, and no top speed limiter. You can get away with doing intake and exhaust and some other things before a tune, but if you decide to go with longtube headers or anything more serious then that, a tune will really make a difference and in some cases is almost necessary. I hope you have a good job, modding trucks is expensive

i would love to dropp a 383...but gas is an issue.....i bet the 383 drinks gas like a hoe

Yeah I'm in the same boat as you, broke and truck stuff is expensive The only difference is that I have a 4.8L and I don't know if its worth modding.
