Default Tire size question

I have a 99 rcsb soon to have a 2/4 drop and new GM 22x9 wheels, my question is will a 305/45/22 fit in the back without major trimming, I believe that a 285/45/22 is the widest that will fit up front, but I want to get the look of a slightly larger footprint in the back possibly with a 305/45 or if anyone is running a wider tire please share. I don't know if it is worth it because the 305/45 is 3/4" bigger in overall diameter and a 305/40 is smaller in diameter, anyone running wider tires in the back with the same wheels please share pictures.

Also my truck is a 2wd im not sure if that will be lower from the factory than a 4wd?

Thanks in advance.

I currently run a 295/40 20 in the rear with plans to go with a 305/35 20, thought about a 315 but thought the 305 is plenty. I run 275/35 20 in the front.
I have a 3x4 drop

The width of a 305 will be ok with the right wheel offset but probably not with the offset of stock GM wheel. Not to mention a 305/45/22 is 32.8" tall, not going to work with a 2/4 drop. They are also going to be stretched on a 9" wheel (10.5 is recommended). I would recommend a max of 285/30/22 on that combo where a 275/35/22 would be more optimal.
