I am currently running 285/50/20’s. What will going to 275/65/20 do? Will it be much different in size, i.e. if I have no rubbing issues now will I with these?

ya you'll rub your going from a 31" tire to a 34" tire
I'm just joking bro, here's a metric converter to actual height and width http://www.4x4sites.com/techreports/...ator/index.asp

I used this calculator and the specs don't seem that far off.

Slap 'em on and see if you do or don't. If yes then just trim the plastic skirt in the wheel well. I stuffed 35"x13.5" Mickey T's into my avalanche (I have a 6" lift though so height may be an issue for you)

Are you sure 275/65 is the correct size, or could that be a typo and you meant 275/55?
If it is a 65-series sidewall, you will undoubtedly have fitment issues. Most folks I know have gone with at least a 2" lift to run 33" tires. Since these are a bit over 34", you'd need to go up, I'm guessing by at least 4".
If it's the 55...no sweat. It's actually the same spec as "stock" and just a wee bit taller than your 285/50's.
