**Update** I went ahead and ordered some 275/45/20. I talked with my tire guy and thought the 285/50/20 was a bit too tall as well. I was going to get 295/45/20, but he told me they were a bit too wide for the 8.5 rim and wouldn't wear very evenly.

I just hope they don't look too small with only the back down at 2". I might just end up doing a 2/4, but was wanting to stay away from it. If I don't really like the look of the 275/45, he would take them off and get something I like which I thought was a pretty good deal.
