Yeah I thought about the 06 swap too. It would be a nice update/upgrade to the truck, but im not sure its what I really want.

Heres an HD hood for ya

I agree, that is sexy. I like a wider cowl though.

Not exactly, the 06 hood sticks out a little further and won't fit properly with a 03-05 grille, the 06-07 hood and grille have to be swapped together or the hood won't line up with the grille properly.

Well, there's also no "HD hood" for the '03-'05 trucks, the HDs had the same hood as the half ton.

Yeah I knew you have to swap the grille and everything from and 06+ truck.

Ok because I have seen an HD swap on an 01-02 half ton before, and you can tell it's not an 06 hood. At least they look different.

almost.

The 05 2500 HD had a HD hood. Then 06 -07 half tons and 2500's all had that hood.

The 01-02 2500 HD's had their own style HD hood. Which is one of my fav's.

it can be bolted on a 99-02 truck and 99-06 tahoe , suburban and looks killer.

To post above, you cant get a wider cowl hood. Not sure what your talking about.
