Does the bowtie mount to the Tahoe grille differently than it does to the stock Silverado grill? The Silverado grill has the outline of the bowtie built into it, but it looks like the Tahoe grill does not??? Is this correct?

I don't mean how it mounts to the truck, I mean the bowtie. My silverado grill has an outline of the bowtie that the billet bowtie sits in, and the tahoe grill I have here doesn't have that. I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I slap it on, or at least try to!

My aftermaker billet bowtie bolted right on. The grill was for a clip on tho, and I had to cut it a tad to make room for the backing plates. It turned out great, and looks much nicer than my old grill even tho I had the billet bars in it. The black powdercoating was flaking off and it started to look like ****. I'm going to leave this one as is without the billet, and I think the black center looks good. The Radix heat exchanger will be able to pick up more air thru this grill, and it will look scweet peeking out from behind the black grill center.
