I want to buy a tahoe grille for my truck. GM wants $441. There are none at the local salvage yards. I checked on eBay, but all of the grilles are aftermarket. Has anyone bought any of these chrome grilles on eBay? I would buy one but most aftermarket non name-brand stuff on ebay is junk.

 

Probably ot' to check out your local GM dealer.

I bought mine @ http://www.partszoneonline.com/index.php , I believe. It cost $282, which was all dandy. Until I saw shipping ran me $100! Took up alot of space I guess.

There is a sticky at the top of one of these forums (truck general) that has part numbers.

I got my aftermarket one with a billet grill for $300

 

ill trade mine. with a billit grille if someone has an all black silverado grille. . .

 

the only thing you have to watch for on aftermarket grills is that there is actually an indentation for the chevy symbol. mine only has the indentation for the top part of the symbol and the bottom 1/4-1/2 inch of it hangs off a little. be careful

 

Keep looking in the junk yards. Got mine for $125.
