I'm just speculating, but I think they cover up the nice wheels with chrome plastic is because all machined aluminum wheels wind up looking like this in the states that use road salt

These were from my dads truck....great michigan salt

Good info. Luckily, mine came clearcoated. Hopefully, they'll hold up. Our winters tend to be relatively mild in Tennessee.

IIRC michigan uses the most salt out of any state. TN cars look waay better at the same age.

ill bump this, can someone post a picture of the original 20" rim that these are for? theres a set locally for 600, and just wondering what 20s these are.

The Six bar rims pictured in this thread are the 2009-2011 GMC Texas Edition rims, the 5 bar rims pictured in the link are from the 2009-2011 Chevrolet Texas Edition rims.
