Suspension Questions

I have a cousin in Mission,Tx and he goes to the track in edinburg pretty often. He has a black extended cab sportside silverado with silver flames and black flames over the silver again. He had his springs heated about 2 years ago and the ride was pretty good but after about 500 miles the ride was going lower in da front. It was heated up about 2 inches and now has about 3-4 inches of drop. Best way to go is a kit.

DJM Is agood quality kit. I have their 4/6 kit on my truck. It rides well, but I didn't C-notch my rearend. I put this kit on in my driveway with air tools and a floor jack with the help of one of my friends (92 Ford Ranger 5/7 drop done in my driveway too!). It isn't hard to do it yourself, just get a little help and some QUALITY coil spring compressors!!!

I can't say enough good things about my Hotchkis drop. You can purchase through them at http://www.hotchkis.net and I believe TByrne carries them also. I'm surprised you've never heard of them before. If you go to thier website and view the Project Vehicles>Customer Rides you'll see my Silverado in there. Just a little plug for myself.
Don't pay much attention to my list of mods though because it's all old info.
