Looks good. My dad just put a place diverter on his Berkley 12JE. My god that thing is so much fun to play with!! Plus the boat rides alot better too. Boat has the same motor too, old Smogger 455. How big are you going on your carb??

We dont have a Place diverter....hell it would cost more than what we got the whole boat for..haha...the carb is only a 650....not a race boat....just a chillin cruising boat....and the mototr is built to handle regular pump gas...so..its all the carb it needs...hell our stroker 427 only has a 670...

I got ya man. I saw the snoot gone and for some reason I assumed a place diverter was gonna be living there. My dads boat is by no means a race boat. Its too heavy for that, old 76 Taylor SJ. My dads originally had a 650 on it but the boat just sounded like it was laboring to run. Like it was starving for air. We tuned and tuned on that old Holley 650. Never could figure out what was up. Tossed on a 750 and actually solved the problem. But I was just curious what you were gonna be running on there.

We have a diverter...just not a Place diverter....the diverter is mounted on the nozzle and that whole assembly is still off from where i painted it...and it was easier to mount the drive in the boat without it...
