Default sport mirrors or no?

i have a 05 ecsb black silvy and i cant decide if i should paint my factory mirrors black (dont like the caps cause you still have the plastic) or do sport mirrors. the sprts just look a little small with a bigger truck to me and if you guys have any pics of extended cabs with the sport mirrors i would like to see them. basically just looken for opinions. and there are guys that have painted the factory ones tell me how they turned out cause i have a friend that does body work on the side where i work and he told me that it wouldnt stick very well and would end up cracking.

I really like my Street Scene mirrors. I can't stand the GM "dumbo" mirrors, but they do look best PTM or PTM w/ the chrome cap if you decide to go that route.

Sport Mirrors Are Too Small Imo. With Small Mirrors You Lose The Functionality Of A Mirror. You Can Still See Out Of The Stock Ones And They Look Great Painted. If The Body Shop Preps Them Right, Theye Should Not Crack Or Peel. Anything Painted Is Expected To Get Rock Chips, Though.....

Yea, mine are very functional....once you get used to them, you can see everything that the big mirrors could see.
