I believe the computer has that ability on those setups, somehow it opens the bypass or something.

it does, there are a few tables under the supercharge torque management that have to have some TLC.

I had a friend that had a silver one not too long ago with a cam, lower pulley and a tune. Freaking Fast.... I would hit 170mph with out even breaking a sweat and just kept pulling

Oh ok, I had no idea that GM did that. Makes sense though. Thankfully it's just a tune adjustment away from correcting.

Yeah they have been doing that since the supercharged cobalt ss setups. Thats actually what I used on my twincharge setup to pull blower boost back on the top end. The bypass actuator is a two-port like a wastegate.

Killer car. I actually want one, when and if I can afford it. Looks great, runs great and it's a GM car.

If it was SUPPOSED to be pushing 12psi, and was only making 6. I bet you will see almost another 100/100 with the desired boost back and timing where it should be.
