Default So I am back and with more boost this time...

So after 13 months of driving a Tundra, I know what was I thinking… I have finally rejoined the ranks of an amazing GM product. I picked up this 2010 CTS-V with 26k miles on it over the weekend from a dealer in Chicago, flew up there and drove her home. It has every option including the Recaro racing seats (interior pictures will come next weekend), polished aluminum wheels, and panoramic sunroof. This is BY FAR the most amazing vehicle I have every owned in my life. When I bought it already had a Corsa exhaust and an airraid intake that I was aware of but upon further inspection once we arrived back home we found that it had a Lingenfelter harmonic dampener with an over driven pulley for the blower. I knew something was up on the ride home when the boost gauge was reading over 12 psi and stock these things are rated for around 8-9 or so. When I test drove it I knew right away it had a tune, but from who I am unsure. Anyways, this thing is so SICK! It pulls like a freight train through every single gear and I can honestly say it is so fast that for now the power scares me in comparison to anything close to what the TBSS had.

For the immediate future the stupid front plate bracket will come off just as soon as I get the plugs for the bumper, tint it all the way around, and the only thing I will be purchasing is a drag setup for the track and an upgraded heat exchanger. After that and later on down the road, possibly some headers, cam, heads, and ported blower but that won’t be happening anytime soon. Dyno numbers to hopefully come this week as well.

Enjoy the pics and its good to be back in a GM!!

That is a beautiful car! I would drop the car a little though, at least get rid of that rake.

Well the car is super lean having come from up north, it leaned out to 13.1 AFR at WOT and was pulling 6 degrees of timing and bleeding out 6.5 lbs of boost at anything over 4500 rpm. Having said all that the car still made a ridiculous 525 rwhp and 524 rwtq. Once we dial the tune in this weekend we should pickup at least another 50 hp to the wheels! Maybe even a little more, will update more after the dyno pulls next week!
