The facts are simple.....You could have been going 60mph and ran 4 red lights.....she was impeding the flow of traffic with the left hand turn. I have had two accidents the same way (15 years ago) and they were both not my fault based on the above statement. The officer that wrote YOU a ticket did so based on 3rd party facts, unless he witnessed the act of you running the light he was wrong in issuing the ticket. That would be the same as me telling a cop i saw someone speeding and he wrote them a ticket........

Good luck, and remember....keep any statements off of the web, trust me I have seen web blogs used against someone in the court of law.

Bottom line...glad you and your passenger are OK. Sucks to hear about the passengers of the other car though. Sorry to say this but your truck was one of my favorite ECSB trucks on this site. It had a clean, simple look with tasteful mods. You haven't posted here much but I always liked the pics you posted. You'll probably win in court as it seems like your story is straight.

 

That blows about the truck...it was real nice.

I had an accident about 10 years ago where the lady in front of me pulled a brake job...some of her family/friends came to the scene (they got there before the cops)and said they were IN the car and so the cop gave me a ticket. The ticket got thrown out due to inconsistincies in their story. My insurance co. fixed her car ($700 for a bumper cover/paint), and my rates never went up. A couple of months later she SUES me/insurance co. for $500,000 for injuries. Almost had to go to court, at the last minute my co. settled w/ her for 10Gs, even though she had a history of accidents/lawsuits. Amazing that this how some people "make" a living. GL with your case...I vote TBSS...I almost traded my Z71 in on one this summer, they're awesome trucks.
