Lift that SOB Tom. Its a 3/4 truck it is meant for work and to take a beating offroad. Everyone just slaps a pair of 20's on their trucks and thinks there the **** (no offense to anyone here, there are so many nice lowered trucks on dubs on this site) but if you wanted to have a low truck you should have bought a 1500 RCSB. There is a guy who's son goes to my school and has a 2002 2500 hd ext. cab short bed with 20's and it looks like ***. Now if you wanted to do what I would do it lift it how you want to with 17-18" wheels with 37" x-terrains, now you have a nice mix of the big wheel look with the mean off road attitude. Now that hd you had I would have gave my left nut for, I loved that truck.

I wouldn't lower it, but I don't think I'd raise it either. I like the way MOREGRIP's truck looks, and if it just happens to have 600-700ft lbs. of torque to go with it so be it! I think it would be bad *** with a set of wheels and "street" type tires. Not so much summertime street tires, but something like a Nitto 404 or some other type of all season tire. After seeing your 'burb and other HD, I'm sure it's gonna be sweet either way!

It's funny, because I was in the same quandry with my truck.
At first I was all set to raise it and go with the 4x4 look/function, even had the 4x4, although a 1500HD version.
In the 1 year I owned the truck I went offroading exactly 1 time for 15 min.
Reality Hit.
I then thought about lowering it, as many others do, and ultimately decided against a more harsh ride, and the cost to do so, lastly, I wouldn't be able to run a 10" wide wheel.
In Tom case, money doesn't seem to be a factor.
So I see 2 things.
1, leave it stock, put some wheels and tires on it, drive it for a while, re-access.
2, at this point, you can either, leave it the stock Height, or go in a different direction, besides, who says all decisions must be made today?
just my thoughts, disregard as needed.
