Default Shaving Sport Box Bed Rails

Has anyone shaved the bedrails and got rid of the rail caps on a sport box?

obs and nbs are not the same. The obs the outer bedsides mount to the inside of the box. On the nbs the bedsides are mounted on top of the box, under the caps. I have seen it once or twice. From what I hear it takes a lot of work to make it look nice. And just think, it for whatever reason you have to replace a bedside, all the work has to be done all over again. Just smooth and paint the plastic caps IMO
