shackles

whats up guys i have never done any suspension work on my truck and about two weeks ago i put some shackles on my truck. but now on any little bump the truck squeaks at the rear. even when i got off the truck i can hear it and i only weigh 160 pounds. what do you all think it might be?

i have that noise to, really annoying, i also have a squeak when i brake, not rotor/pad squeak, but another type, sort of like is something is dry or stretching out, dont know, very hard to describe.

From what I hear, that noise is due overtorquing the bolts and not sufficioet lubricant. I would loosen up the bolts and retorque them not as tight as the first time. What brand do you have btw?

When installing rear shackles - need to install them loose - then put the truck back on the ground - then tighten the shackle bolts - lube the bolt and the sides of the bushings - should solve the problem....
