Sir Michaels sells their light kit for the rollpay on their website for like 5 bucks. I got mine and installed it easily above the license plate. Real smooth light, not noticable unless you bend down to look.

If you get the Sir Micheals lamp, get two of them. They made them that the bulb cannot be changed, it is all glued together. When the light goes out, just pull out the whole assembly and wire crimp in the new. Sir Michaels is supposed to give you two of them with their rollpans.

Yes, you will get pulled over in Tx..That's an easy way to get stopped..Make sure that no part of the plate is covered,for example TEXAS. DPS is making a point to stop people for this b/c of the new law and all.

I took one factory plate lamp out of my bumper and used a dremel to cut the same hole found in the bumper on my roll pan above my plate-facing down. Then I clicked the factory light in.
