I was going to take mine off but noticed they hit the bumper... I think I'll get rid of them when I get enough time to take the bumper off and go from there. I may leave a bolt to hook up too if I ever get stuck etc. Around here I'm on some dirt/gravel roads at various times..

the silverado and seirra tow hooks are installed differently, the silverado are bolted to the frame were in the seirra are bolted in the frame. can't really tell you if you have to take the bumper off, but from an insiders point of veiw, the tow hooks are installed first...

Assuming you have an 03 or newer, the only thing that holds the grill on is 1 bolt and 6/8 clips(depending if you have 1/2 ton-6 or 3/4 ton-8) and the top piece of plastic with the 8 or 9 push pins, the bumper is held on by 4 bolts from the top, and 2 bolts underneath that hold the wing bracket to the bumper.
