I have mine removed but I have Caltrac Traction bars so I do not have wheel hop issues.

From what I've been told, you will probably get wheel hop if you remove it without putting on Cal-Tracs, especially with your setup.

read my thread... its called like "Helper springs finally out". So far no wheel hop really. But then again Im still on the cammed 4.8. Give me till next week to find out if I developed wheel hop or not. Do it and dont look back tho, it makes the truck sit nice, mine had a rake before with the 2/4 kit.

i took mine out and it squatted pretty good (never got it to the track) but it did wheel hop and i was afraid of too much axle wrap. i put it back on and the truck rides 10000x better.

I have no wheel hop, and it made the truck sit about a inch lower in the back..

to both.

I'd only do it if you were also adding Caltracs. Mine had bad axle wrap when I did it.
